Annaka Pinto, 17, shot in North London pub

Annaka Pinto

Annaka Pinto was shot in the early hours of Saturday 23 June in the Swan Pub, in Philip Lane, Tottenham. She was taken to hospital but died later that afternoon from a single bullet wound. A woman who gave her name as ‘Vanessa’ and knew Annaka personally said “She was the peacemaker out of all our friends and family. She was always the one crying peace and she ended up getting shot."

21-year-old Tristan Walker, who was arrested in Oxford after a three week manhunt, has appeared in court charged with her murder. He was remanded in custody until an Old Bailey hearing on 29 October. Simone Manning, 20, of Reed Road, Tottenham was also charged and subsequently bailed until the same date for assisting an offender.
