Mother and teenage children found dead in their home in Manchester

On Thursday 12th July, a member of the public discovered the bodies of mother Beverley Samuels and her two children, Kesha Wizzart, 18, and Fred, 13 at their home in Fallowfield, Manchester. A post-mortem examination revealed that the family had all died of head injuries.
Beverley Samuels was a nurse at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. A spokeswoman for the Trust said; "She was a very popular member of the team, liked and well respected by her colleagues, who are all devastated by the news."
Her daughter, Kesha, had recently completed her A-levels at Parrs Wood Sixth Form College in Didsbury where she studied english, law and philosophy. She had received an 'A' for her law studies and had been awarded a scholarship to study the subject at degree level at the University of Manchester. Weeks before her death, she had also sung on the ITV talent show, Young Stars in Their Eyes.
13-year-old Fred Wizzart attended St John Vianney School in Stretford. A spokesperson for the school said Fred was "a very popular member of his class who was respected for his kindness, gentleness and mature attitude to life". The children's father, Fred Wizzart Snr said: "Words can't describe the loss. No-one could ever replace them."
32-year-old Pierre Williams of Cherrington Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham has been charged with three counts of murder. He was remanded in custody and trial date has been set for February 2008.
