Michael Davis-Bingham, 43, stabbed to death in Wolverhampton home

Michael Davis-Bingham

On Thursday 13 December 2007, property consultant and former senior local government official, Michael Davis-Bingham, was discovered dead at his home in Bowen Street, Parkfields, Wolverhampton from a single stab wound. He was last seen the night before in Erdington, Birmingham.

Michael was born in the Caribbean and moved to Canada as a child before coming to the UK in 2002. He was head of economic development for Telford and Wrekin Council from 2003 but left the organisation in 2005 to pursue his career. Councillor Mohammed Afzal Khan, from Manchester City Council, worked with Michael on the Ethnic Minority Business Forum and described him as “very committed to the community, especially the black minority ethnic community. He had the ability of getting on with people from all sorts of backgrounds. He got on with everybody.”
